Engage your community using the on-chain Proof Of Love NFT campaign

BAM!!! January’23 ended in a snap and February valentine’s week is here! It’s a great time to engage with your community members. We kept brainstorming on what innovative campaign ideas can we bring to our users and have come up with an awesome and innovative idea where as a project, you can distribute Proof Of Love NFTs directly on the blockchain to your members.

We are sure that you wouldn’t want to really miss out on any chance of engaging with the community and here we are with one such fun and engaging activity. As part of the campaign, we have a couple of targets in mind

• For new members to target and create awareness about your project.
• For members to verify if they hold a minimum number of your tokens.
• For members to share their feedback on why they love your project.
• For members to collect your created Proof Of Love NFT.

You can add any other task based on how you want to strategize your event but we wouldn’t want to complicate the entry point for new users further. Without any further delay, let’s take an in-depth look at how to create your Proof Of Love NFT this valentine's at AirLyft!

Creation of Proof Of Love NFT

The very first step is for you to create your proof of love NFT at AirLyft. This is a part of our AirToken module in which you can upload a simple JPG, JPEG or PNG file and then fill out certain information with regards to the NFT and then LYFT OFF!

If you don’t have access to the AirLyft V2 platform yet, please click on the link here and sign up on the platform with your suitable method. After successful login, you are now on the dashboard.

• The first step on the dashboard is to click on the AirToken option as shown in the screenshot below.

• Next click on the Create AirToken option to create your own NFT here and then select which type of token you would want to distribute i.e. ERC721, and ERC1155.

• Say you want to create an ERC721 token, click on NFT ERC721 and then you will be provided with multiple options. The first one is to upload the image that you would want as an NFT. Next select from the list of blockchains, on which you would want to deploy this particular NFT. And then enter the name for this NFT and finally enter the ticker. You could also enable the option to set it as transferrable so that users can list it on any marketplace and transfer their ownership. Please note that you can create the image in an aspect ratio of 1:1.

• Once you have all the details for NFT filled, the next is to connect using Metamask and then follow the steps as required by Metamask to approve the transaction and also broadcast it so that the NFT is deployed on the selected blockchain.

• Once the transaction is approved and NFT is deployed, you can see your NFT as created on the AirTokens page.

And that’s it … Your Proof Of Love NFT is successfully deployed on the selected blockchain and is ready for use at your event. If you want to see this particular NFT, you can go to any marketplace supporting the blockchain you selected and search for the details.

Creating NFT Giveaway Event

Now that your NFT is created, let's try and use it in the event and then distribute it directly on-chain.

• Click on the dashboard option first. Now, we wouldn’t want you to create the entire event from the scratch and with that in mind, we have a Proof Of Love VDay Giveaway Template created for you which you can select and check for the predefined tasks.

If your dashboard shows events, please click on the create event and on the same popup, you can select the vDay template from there too.

• Once you click on Use Template, you will be redirected to the Events Basic Details where you can update all the parameters of the event such as Title, Event Description, URL, and Start/End Time based on your requirement and then upload an event banner.

• Next comes the select tasks option, there are multiple tasks that are pre-created as part of the template that you can simply click on and edit the details as per your project. For instance, you can click on Follow us on Twitter task as shown in screenshot below and add your official Twitter handle and so. The same are for other tasks that you can edit or delete based on your campaign strategy.

• Now, if you want to add any other task, please scroll down on the same page and you can view all other actions that are available and would want to do such as Quiz, URL, Media, and others. • Next is the selection of Reward Distribution. Based on what NFT type you have created, please select the NFT Giveaway template.

• Next, you will see a pop-up in which you will be provided with 2 options which are AirToken Giveaway and AirPool Giveaway. Please select AirTokn Giveaway and click on it.

• Now, select the same blockchain on which you earlier created the NFT. Once the blockchain is selected, your AirToken option will be enabled and you can see all the NFTs that you have created on that specific blockchain. For instance, as you can see in the screenshot below, Test1 is my NFT created on BSC Testnet. Next, select if you want to have unlimited claims for the NFT or just put a cap on the number of claims of this NFT.

• Finally, select the distribution type from the list, enter the rules for the claim, and then click on create a giveaway to instantaneously claim the NFT.
